Narrowgate Youth

Here at Christ Community Church, we desire for every youth to have a safe and supportive place where they can grow and flourish in the knowledge of Jesus Christ. Our church ministries are designed to personally engage students in the Bible and help them take “ownership” of their faith.

Sunday School:

All students grade 6th-12th are invited to participate in an in-depth study of the Bible each Sunday morning from 9:00-10:00 AM. We are starting a new curriculum for the Spring of 2021 called “What’s Up: Discovering the Gospel, Jesus and Who You Really Are” that will answer the real questions of identity and purpose that begin to unfold in student’s hearts and minds.

Narrowgate:

“Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.” - Jesus

In Narrowgate, we strive to help middle-school students know Jesus Christ and make Him known. We recognize that a relationship with Jesus is intensely personal and looks different for every student. So, we seek to create a safe environment for students to learn about and express their faith in Jesus. We value having a culture of friendship where all students can feel like they belong. Everyone from 6th-8th grade is welcome to join us for lively games, a relevant message from the Bible, and discussion-groups where we talk about how a relationship with Jesus changes our lives.

We meet every other Sunday afternoon from 3:00-4:30 PM at "The Gate" Youth Center (28 Center St.).

Church Partnerships

Young Life:

We also partner with a local High School ministry called Young Life. Young Life exists to introduce adolescents to Jesus Christ and help them grow in their faith. Anyone from 9th-12th grade is invited to participate in their activities. They have two primary meetings: Club and Campaigners.

Club - is a party with a purpose. The meeting is best described as controlled chaos that’s almost impossible to describe, but teens know it when they see it. And before the party ends, a simple message about God’s love for them is shared.

Campaigners is a weekly Bible-study meeting for High Schoolers who wish to learn more or grow in their faith through study, service, and leadership.
